SHARJAH // A lorry tipped over and slipped into a ditch at the side of Al Dhaid Road in foggy conditions early on Wednesday.
Sharjah Police received a report about the accident and dispatched emergency crews at 4.30am. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Al Dhaid hospital.
“[The driver] was driving through fog on the road and drifted to the side and tipped over when another lorry tried to pass by him at the early hour of the day,” said Sajith Kumar, who was at the scene.
“Luckily he did not sustain any severe injuries,” said the 52-year-old.
