An Indian man on a bicycle was killed and a pedestrian injured when they were hit by a lorry in Sharjah’s industrial area.
Sharjah Police received a call on Tuesday morning, reporting the death of the cyclist at Industrial Area 3.
The pedestrian, also Indian, suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to Kuwait Hospital for treatment.
Police blamed inattention and failure to observe traffic rules for the accident.
