All paid parking zones in Dubai, except multilevel car park, will be free of charge on Sunday for the Hijri New Year. Fares will resume from Monday, August 24. The Roads and Transport Authority said operating hours for all public transport in the emirate would be adjusted during the public holiday, from Friday to Sunday. The Dubai Metro Red Line stations will operate as usual from 5am until midnight and the Green Line from 5.30am until midnight. Dubai Tram will run from 6am until 1am on Monday. The Metro link bus services from Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Dubai Mall / Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail and Etisalat will be in service from 5am to just past midnight. Other public bus services will operate from 4.25am to half past midnight at all main stations, including the Gold Souq. For smaller stations, commuters were encouraged to check the timetable via the RTA website or mobile application. Those looking to catch an abra ride in old Dubai, the service will run from 10am on Sunday to 1am on Monday at Dubai Creek and Al Seef stations. Schedules will change slightly from the Deira Old Souq, with abras running from 10am to half past midnight. The air-conditioned abras operating from Al Jadaf station in Dubai Festival City stations will run from 8am to midnight and the electric abras will ferry riders at Al Seef, Baniyas and Al Fahidi stations from 3pm to 11pm. The ferry, frequented by tourists and residents, will operate between Dubai Marina and Al Ghubaiba at 11am, 1pm, and 6.30pm
