Public parking fees will be waived in Abu Dhabi for the duration of the Eid Al Fitr holiday. Mawaqif parking across the capital's public surface bays will be free from Sunday, June 2, to Friday, June 7, in celebration of the Islamic holiday. Fees will resume at 7.59am on Saturday June 8, the Integrated Transport Centre announced on Wednesday. All customer service centres will be closed for the week, reopening on Sunday June 9. Public bus services will operate as usual on Fridays and according to the holiday schedule for the rest of the week. The full schedule can be found on the ITC website. The ITC called on motorists not to park their cars in prohibited areas or to block traffic at the risk of fines.
