Four new bus services have been launched in popular residential neighbourhoods in Dubai, including one which connects passengers to a number of tourist attractions in the city.
The Roads and Transport Authority introduced a daily feeder service in the densely-populated Bur Dubai area.
The F70 bus runs every 60 minutes from Burjuman Metro Station to a number of popular attractions in the area including Al Fahidi Heritage Village and Dubai Museum. The first bus will run at 5.27am and the last bus for the day will leave at 11.42pm.
Dubai Studio City, which has recently seen a number of chain restaurants open up in the area as well as the Studio One Hotel, has two new bus routes serving passengers in and out of the community.
Route J03 runs every hour from Dubai Studio City’s operations office to the entrance of the nearby Damac Hills residential neighbourhood. The first bus will depart at 5.56am while the last bus will depart at 9.56pm. A second bus, J04, will run between Dubai Studio City and Remraam at 60-minute intervals. The first bus will depart at 6.24am and the last bus will depart at 10.24pm.
A fourth service connects passengers to a number of areas in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
The 321 daily bus operates from Dubai Silicon Oasis High Bay to Dubai Silicon Oasis Lake, at 30-minutes intervals during peak hours.
The additional services have been introduced as part of RTA’s efforts to improve the connectivity between different areas in Dubai via public transport means.
