Five injured as minibus flips on Sheikh Zayed Road



DUBAI // Five people were injured on Tuesday when their minibus flipped over on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Emirates Holidays building in Downtown Dubai.

Dubai Police said that one severely injured person was airlifted to hospital via helicopter, while another person was moderately injured and three others sustained minor injuries.

The accident took place at 1am when the bus crashed into another vehicle, after which it hit a lamppost and flipped over.

Also, Dubai Police said two people were injured in an accident on Al Khail Road towards Sharjah before the Hessa Road bridge on Monday night.

One was seriously injured and another sustained minor injuries.
