Etihad investigates diversion to Jakarta of flight from Melbourne

Etihad Airways earlier this week diverted an Abu Dhabi bound flight to Jakarta following several incidents.

“Etihad Airways flight EY 461 which departed Melbourne for Abu Dhabi on Monday 17 February, has landed safely in Abu Dhabi after a series of incidents disrupted the flight,” said the airline.

“The Abu Dhabi police authorities are currently investigating the incidents and are interviewing crew and passengers. Etihad Airways will release further information as it becomes available.”

The flight was delayed by four hours, according to reports.
