Emirati man trapped in car after accident is rescued in Ajman

AJMAN // An Emirati man trapped in his car after a crash with a heavy vehicle was rescued on Monday morning by a team from Ajman Civil Defence.

The crash had happened in Al Jurf Industrial area, officials said.

Col Nasser Al Zari, head of media and public relations at Ajman Civil Defence, said: “When the team arrived, they used the rescue equipment to extract the injured [man] and he was suffering from minor injuries.”

Col Al Zari said the ambulance took him to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, and then the crew handed over the accident site to police.
