Accidents cause delays in Abu Dhabi



ABU DHABI // Two accidents and a broken-down car caused traffic jams in the capital on Monday

The Abu Dhabi Traffic Department said an accident on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street led to the left lane being blocked, causing congestion. The department urged motorists to drive with caution.

Another accident took place on the Abu Dhabi-Shahama Road near Al Raha Beach leading to more delays.

Earlier, a broken down car caused tailbacks on Sheikh Zayed Street after Al Dhafra Road.

Meanwhile in Sharjah, heavy traffic was reported in Dubai-bound lanes on Al Ittihad Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
