The Department of Transport has said there will be no increase in Mawaqif fees but it plans to expand the geographical scope of paid parking in Abu Dhabi.
The DoT also said its inspectors will no longer use bikes as part of their duties and that their main objective is to give advice and consultancy to motorists to ensure proper and legal usage of parking spaces.
