Tarahamu campaign aids refugees in Lebanon during cold snap

As part of a national campaign, called Tarahamu, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work has distributed aid to 124,000 refugees displaced by recent storms in Lebanon.

The winter aid campaign provides assistance to those affected by the blizzard that hit the Levant this winter.

Since 2011, there has been a surge of refugees arriving in Lebanon to escape the war in Syria.

A delegation from the foundation travelled to Lebanon last month to carry out the distribution of relief supplies such as food, blankets and warm clothing.
