DUBAI // A man sexually assaulted his wife’s tenant in her villa, a court has heard.
On the afternoon of March 19 the Romanian, 30, walked into the villa topless and hugged the British air hostess, telling her that he missed her very much, the Dubai Criminal Court was told on Sunday.
“I pushed him away from me and asked him to leave, but he pushed me and I injured my shoulder when I fell,” said the hostess, who lived in the villa with her mother.
Her mother screamed at the accused and told him to leave, the court heard.
“But he threatened to break her legs if she was not quiet and told her he could kick us out of the villa,” said the flight attendant.
An Iraqi flight attendant who shares the villa with the plaintiff said he was in his room when he heard the women’s screams from the first floor.
The Romanian has been charged with trespassing in the Mirdif villa, issuing threats and attacking the woman.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
