ABU DHABI // The Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, a fusion of Emirati folk exhibits, live cultural interactions and innovative entertainment has been extended to 20 days.
The annual celebration of UAE's rich heritage will return to Al Wathba on November 20 and feature a rich diversity of attractions and activities that bring to life the country's long journey from the nation's forefathers to modern lifestyles.
"This festival is a reflection of our Emirati heritage and a voyage through time that encompasses our past, present and future," said Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, advisor to the President and chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival 2014.
"It reminds us all that our nation's prosperity is not a mere coincidence but built on the strong foundations of past achievements."
More details are expected to be announced at a later date.
