Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, an aunt of the President Sheikh Khalifa, passed away yesterday morning.
Funeral prayers were offered at the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Mosque in Al Muwaiji, Al Ain, by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nayhan, the Ruler's representative in the Eastern Region, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's representative in the Western Region.
Condolences were sent by, amongst others, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar's emir, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince of Bahrain.
