Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Dubai Future Foundation, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, approved 25 projects under the Dubai 10X Programme on Tuesday during a visit to the foundation's headquarters. The projects were shortlisted from 163 other entries by a panel of private sector experts, reported state news agency Wam. <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/uae/government/dubai-ruler-sets-sights-on-a-world-leading-city-1.60221">Dubai 10X Programme</a> was launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, at the World Government Summit in February, as part of plans to place Dubai ahead of other cities by 10 years. The programme encourages the use of all available technologies to deliver new or existing services in radically different ways. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of DFF; the acting chief executive of DFF, Abdullah bin Touq, also visited the foundation.
