Sharjah Police find three women taking drugs in apartment

SHARJAH // Three women were found semi-naked and taking drugs in an apartment raided by police.

Sharjah Criminal Court heard that in June this year, anti-narcotics officers entered a flat in Al Tawoun and found three Moroccan women in their underwear consuming tramadol pills along with a Jordanian man.

They were all charged with beautifying the sin while the three women were also charged with possession and consumption of tramadol.

The women told the court that when police arrived they were fully clothed and sitting in the living room with the Jordanian, who works as a translator.

Two of the women denied the drugs charges, while the other confessed.

“Yes, your honour, I consumed the pills, however, I have medical prescription to use them that can be found in the court records,” said the women who works in sales.

The next hearing is set on August 27.
