Scorcher! Forecasters say UAE temperature to push 50°C this weekend

Heat and humidity will be on the rise this weekend as temperatures will be nearing 47 degrees in Abu Dhabi and 44 in Dubai.

The National Center for Meteorology predicts the weather to be "partly cloudy and hazy at times over some areas with a chance of some connective clouds developing over the eastern and southern areas by afternoon".

Relative humidity will rise late at night and in the early morning over some coastal areas in the west.

During the course of the weekend sea levels will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, there will be moderate conditions in the Sea of Oman although it may become rough at times.
