Manal al-Sharif, a member of the Saudi action group Women2Drive, was recently released from jail after being arrested for posting a video on Facebook of herself driving.

Now the computer consultant says she is giving up her fight to get behind the wheel. As her compatriots prepare for a mass demonstration to demand the right to drive, we look at other areas where Saudi women are challenging traditional views.
