The Ruler of Dubai is pictured greeting family and relatives in a charming video shared by his son, the Crown Prince of Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, also Vice President and Prime Minister, hugs and touches noses with 10 children as he marked his 70th birthday on Monday.
He joined Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, who spent time at the family-owned Godolphin stables in Newmarket, near Cambridge, this week. Sheikh Mohammed is filmed arriving in his trademark Mercedes G63.
The Ruler of Dubai owns an estate in Chobham in Surrey. He also has a home on the shores of Loch Duich in Wester Ross, Scotland.
He marked another milestone in December when he passed 50 years of public service, and released an autobiography in Arabic and English, which gives a previously unreported insight into diplomatic encounters and his early years learning English in Cambridge.
