DUBAI // The convictions of six men who were each jailed for two years for luring a man into a building by saying he could have sex with women then stabbing him and stealing his money have been overturned by Dubai Court of Appeal.
Prosecutors had claimed Bangladeshi M N A, 28, was walking in Naif on January 11 when compatriots M A, 35, and M Y A, 24, stopped him and asked if he would like to have sex with women.
He accompanied the pair to a building near a hotel in the area, where four other individuals – T A, N A, M M and R H – were alleged to have joined in an assault.

M A, M Y A, T A, 25, N A, 28, M M, 37, and R H, 29, were all found guilty in May.
