Repton School Abu Dhabi celebrated the grand opening of its new Fry Campus Wednesday. The British-curriculum school stands on a 25,000 square meter plot on Al Reem Island and can accommodate up to 1,800 pupils from Years 3 to 13. It opened last September to pupils from years three to six. Next academic year, three more year groups will be added. Fry Campus includes a six-lane, 25-meter indoor swimming pool, three indoor sports halls, a shaded rooftop outdoor court and a multipurpose hall for creative arts. “Our schools have an outstanding reputation for educational excellence and we aspire to compete with the best schools across the globe,” said Khaled AlMheiri, chairman of Evolvence Knowledge Investments, which owns the Repton schools. “As a leading educational group, we are committed to supporting the UAE leadership’s emphasis on education to prepare pupils for a knowledge based economy and help them maximise their potential through our network of reputed schools.” Repton’s Rose Campus, which opened in 2013 and is rated "very good" by the Department of Education and Culture, is located just down the street and provides education for children from foundation stage to Year 2. Annual fees at Repton Abu Dhabi cost Dh55,000 for foundation stage, and DH55,000 to Dh65,000 for year 6, excluding books, uniforms and transportation. _____________ Read more: Parents voice anger as Abu Dhabi school hit by deafening construction noise
