Ras Al Khaimah Police have launched an awareness campaign against begging.
The initiative was set up as per the directives of Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, chief commander of Ras Al Khaimah Police.
Launched under the slogan “Fight begging and help those who truly need it”, the campaign targets all social categories.
The campaign will run at a number of locations throughout the emirate and it will include awareness seminars, handing out of 35,000 brochures to entities and institutions to highlight the dangers of begging and the uncivilised nature of this practice.
