Passengers urged to get to Dubai airport early as holiday rush kicks in

DUBAI // Emirates passengers are being urged to arrive early for their flights this weekend, as Dubai International Airport is expected to be extremely busy.

More than 62,000 travellers are expected to head home or go abroad for the holiday season, with high passenger loads this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The airline is advising passengers to arrive at least three hours before their flight and plan for extra time to get to the airport.
