A passenger was arrested after being caught with 7 kilograms of marijuana at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The drugs were found tightly wrapped in a number of bags in the man's luggage, customs officials said.
Abu Dhabi Police said the man was arrested after arriving at the airport from an Asian country.
Customs inspectors found of 6.7 kilograms of the illegal substance during a search.
Mubarak Al Mansouri, executive director of customs operations, praised alert staff for discovering the drugs haul.
