Police in Sharjah are investigating the death of a 36-year-old Pakistani woman whose body was discovered in her car which was parked in the Yarmouk neighbourhood.
The suspected murder comes a little more than a week after the body of Lorna Lim Varona was found dumped in the boot of her car in Sharjah's industrial area.
A spokesman for Sharjah police operations room said they received a call after midnight on Thursday from a resident reporting there was a dead body in a Mercedes with a Dubai number plate parked behind a cafeteria in Yarmouk.
"The woman's body had some wounds, likely to have been inflicted as part of her murder," said the spokesman.
