No traffic woes caused by Abu Dhabi airport road diversions, say UAE motorists

Diversions at entry and exit roads to Abu Dhabi International Airport caused by construction work are operating smoothly, with no traffic problems, taxi drivers said yesterday.

The alternate routes, put in place yesterday and staying put until June 6, mean there are alternative roads to the terminals.

Entry for all drop-offs, as well as arriving and departing travellers, have temporarily moved to the lower levels.

The diversions are allowing for the completion of a new travellers' tunnel that will connect the departure terminal to the arrivals hall.
