After the largest IT upgrade that has taken place in the Middle East, Etihad Airways did not report any delays or cancellations today, according to an official.
The airline also said that there is now no need to arrive at Abu Dhabi airport four hours before flights, as had been advised over the weekend. Normal procedures have resumed.
Etihad has switched to a new online platform for bookings and checking-in after striking a US$1 billion (Dh3.67bn) deal with global technology company Sabre.
