The National Geographic Channel Abu Dhabi, part of Abu Dhabi Media, won the Arab Social Media Pioneers Award for the corporate environment category for 2015, whose aim is to honour individual and institutional creativity in various sectors and across social media.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmood, chairman and executive director of Abu Dhabi Media, received the award from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, at the Arab Social Media Summit, held over two days at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
