A man has been arrested for using counterfeit credit cards in shops in Sharjah.
ARA, a Nigerian who has been nicknamed Mr Cash, is accused of offering shopkeepers a percentage of the money withdrawn on the cards, which he received from abroad.
Sharjah Police's technology-crime department said they caught the man in a shop and asked to see his identification documents and credit card.
Police said the card he was using was found to have been stolen and the serial number changed, though the card still bore the name of its rightful owner.
