Drivers have been warned to take extra care on UAE roads today, as sandstorms look likely to affect visibility in much of the country. Strong northwesterly winds are expected to whip up dust and sand, especially in inland areas. The increased wind will also make sea conditions very rough, according to the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). Seafarers and those out at sea should remain cautious. There will be a significant drop in temperatures of around 6°C, with coastal areas seeing a high of 25°C and a low of 21°C. Inland areas will be between 24°C and 28°C.
