DUBAI // Three men allegedly entered a compatriot’s bedroom and held him down before taking turns to rape him.
The three Pakistanis, aged 19, 30 and 21, are accused of entering the victim’s bedroom at their company’s accommodation in Jebel Ali while he slept on January 7 this year.
The victim, whose age was not disclosed, told prosecutors at Dubai Criminal Court that at 11pm on the day of the incident he felt someone touching him while he was sleeping.
“I turned on my mobile’s light and saw the three defendants in my room. They were under the influence of alcohol and requested to have sex with me. I refused and tried to get out of the room,” he said.
The men allegedly locked the bedroom door before the 30-year-old defendant slapped the victim and dragged him on to the bed.
“I tried to resist them and getaway, but they held me tight,” said the victim.
An Emirati police officer who responded to a report of rape said the victim appeared shaken and afraid.
“When I saw him in the accommodation he could not sit down due to the pain.”
A medical report found the victim had been raped and DNA from two of the defendants was found on his body.
All three men denied a charge of rape.
The case was adjourned until June 15.
