ABU DHABI // Seven men who were not paid their salaries for three months raided their company’s office and destroyed electronic equipment in revenge, the Criminal Court has heard.
Indians GS, BS, SS, MS, BS, HY and AY are accused of attacking a manager at the computer company, destroying two computers and a number of mobile phones.
The men were under the influence of alcohol when they carried out the raid, prosecutors said.
The manager who filed the charges, also an Indian, left the country after he made the complaint.
On Tuesday, four of the defendants confessed to drinking alcohol, two confessed to attacking the manager and all denied destroying the company’s property.
The court was adjourned until July 9 when a verdict will be announced.
