RAS AL KHAIMAH // RAK Civil Defence has dealt with seven reports of incidents this week including a lift crash and several fires across the emirate.
A lift carrying nine people fell in a residential building on Monday.
Specialised rescue teams were dispatched to the scene but it is unclear if there were any injuries.
In a separate incident, a fire broke out in a residence causing the asphyxiation of an Emirati woman.
Ambulance services gave first aid care to the woman at the scene.
