The promotion of human rights and social development in the Middle East and North Africa is to be discussed at a conference next month in the United Arab Emirates.
The Forum for the Future initiative, developed by the G8 group of nations with Middle Eastern and African nations, will be attended by 180 groups including Amnesty International, the Arab League for Human Rights, No Peace Without Justice and the Red Crescent Society.
The forums, which will take place in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, will focus on how organisations can promote and develop political, economic and social reform.
