GMC hospitals in Ajman, Sharjah and Fujairah have invited pregnant women to take free health tests at three medical camps to be held on Thursday.
Tests, conducted by doctors from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, will take place from 9am to 9pm at three hospitals.
Women will get special discount on delivery costs especially in case of Caesarean procedures.
The medical camps take place on a yearly basis as part of GMC’s social responsibility strategy, which aims to promote volunteer action among members of the community.
“We organised standardised medical camps in June in Ajman hospital and it was a huge success,” said Mohieddine Thombi, head of operations at Thumbay Group, which owns GMC.
“Having identified people’s needs in other emirates, we have decided to hold them simultaneously at the Group’s hospitals in Ajman, Sharjah and Fujairah.”
