An Emirati man was flown to hospital after suffering from exhaustion while taking a walk in Wadi Naqab in Ras Al Khaimah. The air wing division of the emirate’s police immediately sent a rescue helicopter to his aid after receiving a report about the man, aged 60, at 3.15pm on Saturday. The man, who is a resident of the area, was with his son when he felt unwell. “He was suffering from high blood pressure, severe fatigue and exhaustion while in a very rugged area at Wadi Naqab,” said Maj Gen Ali Al Nuaimi, chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police. The police official urged mountaineers to avoid visiting rugged places during the hot weather.
