DUBAI// Hundreds of cyclists, motor bike riders and rollerbladers took part in the Dubai Pink Ride Campaign to raise funds for underprivileged people with breast cancer.
More than 500 people took part in the event at Jumierah Mosque opting for either the 8km or 15km ride on Friday.
There was also a host of other activities to keep families entertained with children’s face painting and magic shows.
The fundraiser was organised by Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Sports Council, Union Cooperative Society, the Roads and Transportation Authority and Dubai Police.
Money raised during the event will go to the DHA’s Moussadah committee, which works with different organisations to support breast cancer patients in DHA hospitals.
