SHARJAH // A forum on non-communicable diseases (NCD) will take place next week under the patronage of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah.
The forum will take place next week at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, and is a collaboration between the groups Friends of Cancer Patients and the NCD Alliance.
It will include sessions on three areas: advocacy and accountability, organisational development and collaboration for success.
More than 200 delegates from national and regional NCD alliances are expected to attend. The forum is aimed at strengthening advocacy and promoting collaboration to fight the diseases.
Sheikha Jawaher is Founder and Royal Patron of Friends of Cancer Patients and International Ambassador for the World Cancer Declaration of the Union of International Cancer Control.
