One of the UAE's most popular attractions is back in full flow after the Dubai Fountain resumed operations. The spectacular production - which involves water being shot into the skies against a musical backdrop - has proven a hit with visitors to Dubai's Downtown district for years. Now it is back on song, but with safety precautions very much at the forefront of minds. Visitors must adopt social distancing practices and wear masks in line with Dubai's Covid-19 precautionary regulations. The move is part of Dubai's efforts to boost economic activity and help the emirate return to a sense of normality, while still adhering to crucial measures in place to stem the spread of the virus. Last week it was announced that businesses and malls in Dubai would be allowed to operate at 100 per cent capacity for the first time in more than two months. Public beaches and restaurants have also reopened as the emirate gradually lifts Covid-19 restrictions.
