The UAE reported 382 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the overall infection tally to 884,736.

The latest infections were identified from an additional 332,599 PCR tests.

Another 1,093 people beat the virus, pushing total recoveries to 849,123.

Officials said there were no Covid-19 deaths in the 24-hour reporting period, leaving the toll at 2,302.

Active cases dropped to 34,646 as recoveries have for several weeks outpaced daily infections.

Nearly 142 million tests have been conducted across the Emirates under a comprehensive screening strategy.

More than 24.2 million vaccine doses have been administered – with 96.44 per cent of the public now fully vaccinated.

On Thursday, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) announced that its Covid-19 drive-through services centre in City Walk, Dubai, would soon no longer be in operation.

Seha recommended its drive-through services in Al Khawaneej as an alternative option. Appointments can be booked via the Seha app.
