A graduation ceremony was held for 60 firemen at the Civil Defence Academy in Abu Dhabi.
Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, the director general of Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, said the graduates had trained for six months in the most advanced firefighting practices according to international standards.
Col Nuaimi said that the course offered trainees theoretical and scientific training for three months at Abu Dhabi police academies as well as practical field training at the Civil Defense Academy for a further three months.
