A host of international leaders have proudly wore Sheikh Zayed badges during meetings with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed

From Ethiopia and Eritrea to France and Austria, international leaders have put their support for Sheikh Zayed on full display.

During a series of royal appointments with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, heads of a number of global governments have proudly worn Zayed badges.

Sheikh Mohamed - who has enjoyed a productive week holding talks in Paris and Jordan - also showed off his own Zayed badge during the high-level meetings at the Presidential Palace in the UAE capital and on tours abroad.

Leaders from all corners of the planet have been hosted by Sheikh Mohamed in recent months, with all honouring the legacy of the UAE's Founding Father.

The tributes are all part of ongoing celebrations for the Year of Zayed in 2018, marking the centennial anniversary of Sheikh Zayed's birth.
