The Journey: HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shows the transformation Dubai has undergone in the past 65 years.
The seven-and-a-half minute video takes the viewer on a 3D computer-generated trip around landmarks in Dubai while highlighting key aspects of Sheikh Mohammed’s life.
“Using 3D graphics, The Journey has been created in the form of an electronic map which navigates users to sites that were the scene of the most important achievements associated with His Highness’s name,” said Mona Al Marri, director general of the Government of Dubai Media Office, which launched the video.
“The 3D technology has been combined with a rare collection of photographs, in addition to clips related to the key events covered in this journey, which abounds with successes and achievements.”
