UAE leaders send condolences to Bahraini king on death of royal



The President, Sheikh Khalifa, has expressed his condolences to the Bahraini king following the death of Sheikha Noura Al Khalifa.

Bahrain's king, King Hamad Al Khalifa, along with other members of the royal family,  performed funeral prayers on Wednesday for the royal at the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Mosque in Riffa.

Condolences will be accepted at the Al Zaher Palace in Manama on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 12pm and from 3pm to 4pm.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, also sent their condolences.

News of the Bahraini royal's death was announced by the country's royal court on Tuesday.
