Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received French Navy Chief Admiral, Christophe Prazuck, and reviewed prospects for advancing defence co-operation between the UAE and France to a higher level. During the meeting, the pair discussed the friendly ties between the two countries and exchanged views on the latest developments in the region. The French military commander was accompanied by Lt Gen Hamad Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Rear Admiral Pilot Staff Maj Gen Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan, Commander of the Naval Forces. The meeting, at a Sea Palace barza, was also attended by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance, and the French Ambassador to the UAE, Ludovic Pouille.
