ABU DHABI // Innovation and development have been placed at the forefront of the UAE’s role in supporting growth in the Middle East during a regional dialogue on promoting creative ideas.
The Middle East Developmental Dialogue Initiative aims to overcome specific challenges in the region to aid growth, such as encouraging the improvement of cognitive learning to ensure successful developmental plans are implemented.
Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister for International Cooperation and Development and head of the Committee for Coordination of Humanitarian Foreign Aid, praised the launch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, which focuses on the use of technology to improve the quality of life for those living in the region.
“Present developmental issues are complex and interrelated, with strong links to various past accumulations,” she said.
“This has created a challenge that necessitates working on various fronts, especially in terms of enriching cognitive skills and exploiting experiences and discussions in the field to assure successful developmental plans.”
