ABU DHABI // Two awards won by Abu Dhabi Police were on Tuesday presented to Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The police won an award for being the best government body responding to cases through the CityGuard mobile app.
The force was also awarded for being among the three best government bodies with excellent performance through the Abu Dhabi Government Contact Centre.
The prizes were a result of the leadership’s aim to provide high-quality services to the public and to make sure residents were safe, said Maj Gen Nasser Al Nuaimi, secretary general of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The achievement came as a response to Sheikh Saif’s instructions and “stems out of the abiding faith in Abu Dhabi Police’s vision, which seeks to efficiently establish Abu Dhabi emirate as one of the safest and most secure cities in the world”, Gen Al Nuaimi said.
Sheikh Saif was briefed on the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police complaint and suggestions department.
He congratulated the teams that won the awards and urged them to continue to excel in their work.
