Sheikh Mohammed receives president of Mali



Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received the president of the Republic of Mali, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, who is currently on a working visit to the UAE.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of common ideas related to the development of the existing fields of cooperation between the two countries, especially the economic and development fields.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the UAE's keenness under the leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed to strengthen bilateral relations with friendly African countries and to develop these relationships to achieve mutual interests, noting that the UAE and Mali have good and distinguished relations.

President Keita handed Sheikh Mohammed the National Order of Mali, the highest honorific orders of Mali, in recognition of his efforts to strengthen cooperation between them.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, Abdoulaye Diop, minister of foreign affairs of Mali, and Boubou Cisse, Malian minister of economy and finance.
