Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, paid his condolonces to the Prime Minister of Britain on the deaths of British citizens in last week's attack in Tunisia.
Sheikh Mohammed, during a meeting with David Cameron on Thursday, also wished those who were injured in the attack in Sousse a speedy recovery.
The attack, he said, was one that violated all religions, laws and human and ethical principles, the state news agency Wam reported.
Mr Cameron thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his sympathy and his support of the people of Britain.
The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations and international issues of common interest, as well as ways to bolster and promote relations. The progress of bilateral relations was looked into, as was both countries’ cooperation in the political, economic, investment and cultural domains.
Both leaders emphasised their intent to further enhance and promote these historical relations.
Regional issues, including ways to combat terrorist organisations and the threats they pose to the security and peace of states, were also touched upon. The importance of greater efforts and cooperation for eradicating terrorism, extremism and deterring terrorist organisations bent on seeding religious, sectarian and racial divisions in society, were also discussed.
The crises in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Libya and Tunisia were also on the agenda.
Also in the group visiting the UK as part of the official visit were Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the Foreign Minister, and Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

“They feel like they can’t buy one cucumber,” he says. “But I can walk into a shop – I feed two people at home – and I’ll walk into a shop and I buy one cucumber, I’ll buy one onion.”
Mr Payne asks for the sticker to be placed directly on each item, rather than face the temptation of filling one of the two-kilogram capacity plastic bags on offer.
The chef also advises singletons not get too hung up on “organic”, particularly high-priced varieties that have been flown in from far-flung locales. Local produce is often grown sustainably, and far cheaper, he says.

Importantly, we intend to operate Careem independently, under the leadership of co-founder and current CEO Mudassir Sheikha. They are first-class entrepreneurs who share our platform vision and, like us, have launched a wide range of products—from digital payments to food delivery—to serve consumers.
I expect many of you will ask how we arrived at this structure, meaning allowing Careem to maintain an independent brand and operate separately. After careful consideration, we decided that this framework has the advantage of letting us build new products and try new ideas across not one, but two, strong brands, with strong operators within each. Abdul Jabar Qahraman was meeting supporters in his campaign office in the southern Afghan province of Helmand when a bomb hidden under a sofa exploded on Wednesday.
The blast in the provincial capital Lashkar Gah killed the Afghan election candidate and at least another three people, Interior Minister Wais Ahmad Barmak told reporters. Another three were wounded, while three suspects were detained, he said.
The Taliban – which controls much of Helmand and has vowed to disrupt the October 20 parliamentary elections – claimed responsibility for the attack.
Mr Qahraman was at least the 10th candidate killed so far during the campaign season, and the second from Lashkar Gah this month. Another candidate, Saleh Mohammad Asikzai, was among eight people killed in a suicide attack last week. Most of the slain candidates were murdered in targeted assassinations, including Avtar Singh Khalsa, the first Afghan Sikh to run for the lower house of the parliament.
The same week the Taliban warned candidates to withdraw from the elections. On Wednesday the group issued fresh warnings, calling on educational workers to stop schools from being used as polling centres.
