Sharjah land plots allocated to Emiratis for investment



SHARJAH // The Department of Planning and Survey has allocated 480 land plots for investment to to Emiratis in Khorfakan and Kalba.

The department's Standing Committee for Land Allocation said the allocation was to help the Emiratis diversify their sources of income, reported Aletihad, the sister newspaper of The National.

The move followed the directives of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Sharjah.

Walid bin Falah Al Mansouri, chairman of the committee, delivered 180 maps of the plots of land to elderly residents in their homes in Khorfakan, while 300 maps were handed to Emiratis in Kalba.
